IMAGINE Summer Learning Program
IMAGINE Summer Learning Program is for students currently enrolled in English 7, English 8, Math 7, and/or PreAlgebra.
Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) Testing: 2021
Seventh and eighth grade students will be taking the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) Tests at Rocky Run Middle School starting in late April/early May and will run until June 2021. View more information.
Important Immunization Requirement for Rising 7th Grade Students
Read information about immunization requirements that are effective July 1, 2021, these immunizations are required for all students entering seventh and twelfth grades, including those who choose all-virtual instruction.
COVID-19 Vaccination Appointment Scheduling
People 16 years and older may schedule an appointment to receive one of the three available free COVID-19 vaccines at Fairfax County Health Department clinics, the Tysons Community Vaccination Center, or the George Mason University. A parent or other adult (18 years and over) must physically accompany a minor at the COVID-19 vaccine appointment.
Six School Counseling Programs Awarded 2021 RAMP Designation
Six school counseling programs have been recognized by the American School Counselor Association as model programs and were awarded the Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) designation for 2021.
No-Cost Meals for All FCPS Students through June 30, 2021
Grab and Go meal sites are open 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Meal Kits sites distribute each Monday from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., or until supplies are exhausted. Buses distributing meals are operating Monday through Friday. Meals will be available at no-cost Monday-Friday at all schools with in-person instruction. Specific information about meal distribution locations and bus distribution schedules are available.
Parent Technology Help Desk
To support families who are working with their children during distance learning, Fairfax County Public Schools now has a Parent Technology Help Desk. The number is 1-833-921-3277 (833-921-FCPS). It will be answered by staff 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week. If the help desk is unable to solve the issue on the phone with the parent or guardian, they will enter a ticket on the parent’s behalf and the request for help will be transferred to the appropriate FCPS team.
