Congratulations to the Rocky Run Middle School website and school website administrator Ms. Pam Galietta. The Rocky Run website was recognized as 'Best of the Web' for 2021!

The Best of the Web Awards annually recognizes three elementary schools, one middle school, one secondary or high school, and one special center or academy.

Below is the write-up from the FCPS news release.

Pam Galietta posts lots of events on the website to keep the Rocky Run community engaged in school activities. Feature stories highlight the school’s unique offerings, such as Makerspace and the Global Classroom program. An academic advising section provides valuable resources to both current and rising sixth-grade students and links to the educational advising pages of its pyramid high schools (Chantilly, Centreville, and Westfield). A Department of Student Services page provides each staff member's name, along with details about both the team and feeder schools that each school counselor represents.

Members of the central office web team and one of the FCPS photographers surprised Ms. Galietta during a recent faculty meeting, where she was presented with a certificate and a crystal glass trophy in front of her entire staff. At the monthly school curator's webchat, the Rocky Run website was proudly displayed and Ms. Galietta was formally recognized in front of many of her FCPS school curator colleagues.

Congratulations, Ms. Galietta!
