On Wednesday, April 5, 2017, Rocky Run held the 2nd Annual Battle of the Books contest. The top two teams will compete in the Piedmont Region's Battle of the Books Competition to be held on April 22, at Warrenton Middle School in Fauquier County.  The two teams representing Rocky Run are the all 8th grade team of "Keep Calm and Read On", coached by Ms. Sweeney, and the all 7th grade team "S.E.V.I.E.S." coached by Ms. Madden and Ms. Danisewicz.
