Author Ben Mikaelsen visits Rocky Run

On Wednesday, April 25, author Ben Mikaelsen visited Rocky Run.  This was the fourth time he has been to Rocky Run and he spoke to all of our students during the day at three assemblies.  He also met with students in Mr. Hayes' Peer Mediation class and met and had lunch in Dr. Goodloe's office with a select group of students.  In the evening Mr. Mikaelsen attended the Parent Teen Book Club where three of his books, Touching Spirit Bear, Petey and Jungle of Bones were featured.  At the opening of the Book Club, he spoke about each of the three books.  He also went to each discussion group during the evening.
