Rocky Run MS and the FCPS Global Classroom

Madame Ura has been connecting with Saint-André MS in France for the last three years in partnership with FCPS Global Classroom. Global classrooms provide students with opportunities to collaborate on authentic tasks with peers from around the world on global challenges, while increasing content knowledge and developing Portrait of a Graduate skills.

Recently, Madame Ura’s class created seasonal greeting cards in French for their peers at Saint-André using a digital content designing tool called Canva. After they created the greeting cards, students uploaded the greeting cards to the virtual collaborative space Padlet. This provides the opportunity to build community between the partner schools that will prepare them for their collaborative work in the new year.
